Ligue 1: Aspetar, Qatari hospital, formalises its partnership with Paris Saint-Germain until 2016-17

Aspetar, a Qatari hospital specialising in sports medicine and orthopedics, became an official partner of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) until the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced on 27/11/2014. The hospital was established in 2007 and is located in the Aspire Zone in Doha (Qatar).

Aspetar will bring further expertise in sports medicine to the medical staff of Paris Saint-Germain's expertise, and carry out very specific medical records of all players. This "certified Aspetar" assessment will meet the highest international standards, reflecting the expertise of the world's top sports medicine practitioners practicing at Aspetar, said the club. The annual amount of the contract is estimated at several million euros.

• Aspetar includes a licensed medical center named a "FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) Medical Centre of Excellence" by F-MARC in 2009 and the "Research Center of the IOC (International Olympic Committee) for the prevention of injuries and protection of athletes' health "in 2014.
