Frauen-Bundesliga: DAZN acquires broadcasting rights in several "key markets" (2023-2027 cycle)

DAZN has acquired the rights to broadcast the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga (German Women's 1^st Division) in a number of "key markets" for the 2023-2027 cycle, announced the OTT sports platform on 07/06/2023.

DAZN will broadcast four games per matchday in English. The platform will broadcast these matches exclusively in Italy, Spain, Japan, Canada and Brazil. The rights are non-exclusive in the UK and "the rest of Europe".

The agreement does not include the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland), the Baltic countries (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia), Poland and the Netherlands, as the rights to the competition are already held by the Swedish audiovisual group Viaplay for the 2021-2024 cycle.

• The 2023-24 season of the German women's top flight will begin on 15/09/2023.
