UNICEF/RC Lens: €132,576 raised during the 3^rd edition of the "Match des Héros" on 06/06/2023

RC Lens (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) donated €132,576 to UNICEF and the Racing Cœur de Lens endowment fund following the "Match des Héros", a charity match between two teams of French and international celebrities held at Stade Bollaert-Delelis (Lens, FRA) on Tuesday 06/06/2023 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), announced the club on 07/06/2023.

The funds raised come in particular from the sale of 22,000 tickets at prices ranging from €10 to €60, as well as from donations made by supporters and partners of the club and the event. "These donations will enable UNICEF to fund its emergency programmes and help children around the world who are victims of emergencies in Sudan, Ukraine, Turkey, Syria, the Horn of Africa and many other areas. Part of the proceeds will also be donated to the children's charities financed by the Racing Coeur de Lens endowment fund," said the club. The event was broadcast live La chaine L'Équipe and Horizon radio.
