FIFA: AB InBev (beer) extends as sponsor of the Women's World Cup 2023 & Men's 2026 World Cup

The Belgian brewery group AB InBev has renewed its partnership with FIFA and will be an official sponsor of the Women's World Cup 2023 (in Australia and New Zealand, from 20/07 to 20/08/2023) and the 2026 World Cup (in Canada, the United States and Mexico), announced the International Federation on 08/06/2023.

The Belgian group, via its Budweiser (USA) beer brand, has been a World Cup sponsor since 1986. The brand was notably available during the 2022 World Cup in the "FIFA Fan Festival" (fanzones), despite the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Heritage's (SC) decision to ban the sale of alcohol from stadiums and their perimeters.

The brewery group will continue to benefit from the status of official sponsor, the second level in the body's sponsorship hierarchy, alongside Unilever (hygiene products, UK/NED) and McDonald's (fast food, USA) for both competitions, as well as Globant (software, ARG) for the 2023 Women's World Cup.
