FFF: "A short mandate of 18 months, but a mandate for reform" (Philippe Diallo, president)

"You have given me a short mandate, but not a mandate for inaction. On the contrary, I want it to be an active mandate, a mandate for reform. May these 18 months be a useful time for the Federation and for our football," declared Philippe Diallo at the close of the Fédération Française de Football's federal meeting in Paris (FRA), just moments after being elected president (with 91.26% of the vote) on 10/06/2023.

On the agenda for this term of office, which comes at the end of that of Noël Le Graët, who resigned on 28/02/2023, are a number of major sporting events (Women's World Cup 2023, Men's Euro 2024, Paris 2024 Olympic Games), as well as structural challenges for the future of the FFF, such as discussions on the new equipment supplier contract, the question of the Stade de France, the new agreement on the image rights of French team players and the creation of a professional women's league.
