2022-23 Champions League: Manchester City FC win the European title for the first time ever

Manchester City FC (Premier League) are the 2022-23 Champions League winners after beating FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) 1-0 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul (TUR) on Saturday 10/06/2023. This is the 2022-23 English champions' first title in the competition.

Manchester City are the fifth English club to win the Champions League, after Liverpool FC (six wins), Manchester United FC (three), Chelsea FC (two) and Nottingham Forest FC (also two). No other country has as many winning clubs. Manchester City are also the second English team to win the treble (Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League) in the same season, after Manchester United FC achieved the feat during the 1998-99 season.

Thanks to its European success in 2022-23, the club owned by City Football Group will receive a total of €109.8m from UEFA (excluding the market pool).
