FFF/Federal Assembly: framework law adopted to bring statutes in line with the Law of 02/03/2022

• Direct participation by clubs in the election of the FFF president and executive committee at the elective federal assembly
• Changes to the composition of the executive committee (from 14 to 28 members), including the reintroduction of the "families" (top-level sportsmen and women, coaches, referees, doctors)
• Perfect parity between men and women (14-14) on the executive committee

These are the main innovations set out in Law no. 2022-296 of 02/03/2022 "aimed at democratising sport in France", the implementation principles of which were approved by the FFF general assembly on 10/06/2023.

In particular, this law concerns the renewal of the framework for the governance of federations and their decentralised bodies. "An amendment to the FFF's statutes will be submitted to the end-of-year federal assembly on 16/12/2023," explained the Federation.
