Ligue 1: Orange will allow 12 fans of Olympique Lyonnais to be present on the shirt sleeve

The telecom group Orange has activated a partnership with Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) to allow 12 supporters to appear on the sleeve of the shirt until the end of the 2014-15 season, the club announced on 27/11/2014. A visibility package on the club's shirt sleeve had previously been acquired by Orange for the occasion.

12 Twitter users will see their logo inlaid as the "12th man" name on the sleeve of the Lyon kit starting from the match against Toulouse FC (Matchday 20), on 10/01/2015. The fans will be drawn from among those who tweeted a message of encouragement for the Lyon club with the hashtag "#le12emeGone" between 30/11 and 21/12/2014.

The operation "Le 12th Gone"

  • The selected fans will receive a game shirt worn by one of their favourite players on which their name has been printed.
  • They will also attend a match at the Gerland Stadium (capacity 42,000) from the VIP area the "Century Club" area of the stadium.
  • The best tweets of encouragement from all club supporters will be broadcast on the giant screens in the stadium at every game Olympique Lyonnais home match.
