Ligue 1: adidas and the LFP reveal the official ball for the second half of the 2014-15 season

The German equipment manufacturer adidas and the LFP (French Professional Football League) unveiled the official ball of Ligue 1 for the second part of 2014-15 season on 28/11/2014. Inspired by the "Brazuca" ball of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the new ball in the French league offers new colours "that will be remarkable, both on the pitch and on the screen," said the LFP on 28/11/2014.

The ball will be used for all Ligue 1 matches after Matchday 16, from 02/12/2014. The ball is available in adidas stores via the e-shop of the brand, and in all authorised distributors at a price of €130. A replica version is also available from €30.

• adidas has been a partner of Ligue 1 since 2012-13. The German sports equipment manufacturer is committed for a period of five years, until 2017.
• The 2014-15 Ligue 1 championship started on 09/08/2014 and ends on 22/05/2015.
