UEFA: Deutsche Bahn (railway company, GER), first national partner of Euro 2024

Deutsche Bahn, the German state-owned railway company, has become a national partner (2^nd level) of Euro 2024 (to be held in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024), announced UEFA on 12/06/2023. The agreement was negotiated by the agency CAA Eleven.

This is the competition's first national partner. The competition also has six global partners (1^st level): Lidl (supermarkets, GER), Engelbert Strauss (workwear, GER), Vivo (smartphones, CHN), Alipay (payment solutions, CHN), Atos (digital services, FRA) and adidas (footballs, GER).

As part of the agreement, "Deutsche Bahn will provide sustainable mobility for fans and teams across Europe. All 24 teams and ticket holders from 32 European countries can enjoy eco-friendly travel by train, at reduced prices, to the ten tournament venues in Germany during the tournament," explained UEFA. The German company will also be offering an InterRail Pass (unlimited travel on European rail networks) dedicated to the competition to fans coming to watch the matches from outside Germany.
