Bundesliga: Turkish airline Onur Air partners with SV Werder Bremen in 2014-15

The Turkish airline Onur Air became partner of SV Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) for the 2014-15 season, the club announced on 27/11/2014. The contract was finalised with Infront, the marketing agency of the club.

Onur Air will be visible on the advertising boards at the Weser Stadion (capacity 42,500). The company will also be the official air carrier of the club during its winter training, scheduled for January 2015 in Belek, Turkey. The contract is less than €200,000. Turkish Airlines, the main competitor of the Onur company based in Istanbul, was an advertising board partner of SV Werder Bremen for the 2013-14 season.

• Werder Bremen achieved a turnover of €87.9m in the 2012-13 season.
• The club finished in 12^th place in the 2013-24 Bundesliga season.
• Werder Bremen has 23,000 season ticket holders for the 2014-15 season.
  • This represents a decrease of 13% compared to 2013-14 (26,500 season ticket holders).
• Infront Sports & Media is the exclusive marketing agency of the club until the end of the 2028-29 season.
