Foot Unis Convention/FIFA agents' reform: "Clubs will be faced with a dilemma" (P. Moyersoen)

"In France, agents are not allowed to have two mandates. It's forbidden by law; an agent can only represent one party. If FIFA regulations are applied in France, agents will not be able to benefit from this double mandate, leaving commissions at 3% or 5%, compared with 6% or 10% in other countries. An agent is therefore bound to be more interested in selling his player to a foreign club," said Patricia Moyersoen, a lawyer at the Paris Bar, on 13/06/2023.

Moyersoen took part in an exchange with Olivier Létang, president of LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), on the reform of FIFA regulations concerning sports agents as part of a conference entitled "Reforms in international football, what are the consequences for French football?" at the 2023 Professional Football Clubs Convention, an event organised by Foot Unis at the Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu, Rhône) on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13/06/2023.
