Foot Unis Convention/Women's Football: "We are in the midst of a revolution" (J-M. Aulas)

"The subject of reforming women's football is being dealt with by the Federation, and we are in the midst of a revolution. The first thing we did was to establish an ambition for the French team and the conditions for implementing it," said Jean-Michel Aulas, former president of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and current head of the Fédération Française de Football's high-level women's football committee, on 13/06/2023.

Alongside Laurent Nicollin, president of Montpellier Hérault Sport Club (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and Foot Unis, Aulas took part in a discussion on the professionalisation of women's football, as part of the conference entitled "Reforms in international football, what are the consequences for French football?", at the 2023 Professional Football Clubs' Convention, an event organised by the union of club presidents at the Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu, Rhône) on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13/06/2023.
