Women's World Cup 2023: EBU extends TV rights, France Télévisions & M6 broadcasters in France

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has extended its broadcasting rights agreement for the Women's World Cup 2023 (to be held in Australia and New Zealand from 20/07 to 20/08/2023) to 34 countries, including the European Top 5 (France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and Italy) and Ukraine, announced FIFA on 14/06/2023.

The EBU had concluded an initial agreement for the TV rights to the competition for 28 European territories on 24/10/2022. M6 has also acquired the TV rights to the Women's World Cup 2023 under a separate agreement, announced the free-TV group the same day.

Therefore, the broadcasters of the competition in the European Top 5 are as follows:

⚽️ France: France Télévisions (public broadcasting group) and M6 group
⚽️ Germany: ARD and ZDF (public broadcasting groups)
⚽️ Spain: RTVE (public broadcasting group)
⚽️ UK: BBC (public broadcasting group) and ITV (free-TV group)
⚽️ Italy: Rai (public broadcasting group)
