Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Kappa extends as equipment supplier of FC Metz for five seasons (2023-2028)

Kappa has extended as equipment supplier of FC Metz (promoted to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats for the 2023-24 season) for five seasons (2023-2028), announced the brand belonging to the BasicNet group on 16/06/2023. The agreement covers all the club's teams (men's, women's and youth).

The Italian brand has been FC Metz's equipment supplier since the 2020-21 season, and had previously been a partner of the French club between 2006 and 2011. Kappa will thus have two clubs under contract in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats in 2023-24: FC Metz and AS Monaco FC (2019-2025).

"Since 2020, Metz's official kits have been the fruit of cooperation between the two entities, with FC Metz enjoying a degree of creative autonomy. This shared desire for innovation and personalisation has clearly been greatly appreciated by the fans: during the 2021-22 season, when FC Metz wore its official kits for the first time, entirely personalised and flocked with its new logo, sales of shirts increased by 20%," said the equipment manufacturer, which will supply FC Metz with kits made from recycled polyester from 2023-24.
