LaLiga Santander: OTT platforms DAZN and U-Next to broadcast in Japan over the 2023-2028 cycle

The OTT platform DAZN has extended its broadcasting rights to LaLiga Santander in Japan for the 2023-2028 cycle (five seasons), while U-Next has acquired these rights in the same territory and for the same period, announced both parties on 21/06/2023.

Both streaming services will broadcast all matches of the Spanish league. DAZN will also broadcast the Spanish second division. The OTT sports platform has held the broadcasting rights to LaLiga Santander in Japan since 2017. DAZN co-broadcast the competition with the Japanese pay-TV group Wowow over the 2018-2023 period.
