Ligue 1 Uber Eats: RC Strasbourg Alsace acquired by Chelsea FC owner BlueCo (USA)

The shareholders of RC Strasbourg Alsace (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) have signed an agreement with BlueCo, which will become a shareholder of the club, announced RCSA on 22/06/2023. The American consortium is to acquire 100% of Racing.

Led by American Todd Boehly and California-based investment fund Clearlake Capital, BlueCo had previously acquired Chelsea FC (Premier League) in May 2022. The agreement with Racing, which "is subject to a consultation process with the relevant employee representative bodies" and was presented to the DNCG for assessment on 22/06/2023, provides for Marc Keller, the club's main shareholder prior to this operation, to retain his position as chairman.
