Club Atlético de Madrid: launch of a consultation with fans regarding the club's crest

Following a proposal from its social committee, Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) will be holding a consultation with its members from 24 to 25/06/2023 regarding the possible reintroduction of the old crest, used until 2016, announced the Madrid club on 23/06/2023.

This decision comes after "the club's directors presented the members of the social committee with a report on Atlético Madrid's current crest and the impact that a hypothetical change of crest would have on the club. The report was compiled using data from Nielsen, Deloitte Football Money League, Football Benchmark, LaLiga and internal audit data. The club has thus fulfilled the commitment it made to the committee to submit the report by the end of the 2022-23 season."

"Following the consultation, the club will carry out an in-depth analysis of the results in order to assess the situation, quantify the number of members wishing to return to the old crest and take the appropriate decisions," continued Atlético.
