French sport: a predicted value of €7.8bn in 2032 (+97% vs 2022) according to study by Two Circles

"The value of the French sports economy is expected to reach €7.8bn by 2032 - a remarkable growth of 97% from €4.0bn today," explains a report conducted by the sports marketing agency Two Circles in conjunction with Global Sports Week Paris. Entitled "The Golden Decade of French Sport (from 2022 to 2032)" this document was presented on 14/06/2023 at Future of Sport (Paris Expo Porte de Versailles) and published in its entirety on 16/06/2023 (document available to download).

While the study identifies a peak in revenue of €7.9bn in 2024, due to the hosting of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in France, this figure is expected to fall to just under €5bn in 2025, before rising again with an annual growth rate of 7% over the 2022-2032 period.
