France: Stade Rennais, Olympique Lyonnais & Bordeaux have the best training centres in 2022-23 (DTN)

The Fédération Française de Football's National Technical Department (DTN) and the Ligue de Football Professionnel's joint committee have published a report entitled "Effectiveness of French training centres", which evaluates the academies of 34 Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and National 1 clubs on 23/06/2023.

The top marks awarded in this evaluation were obtained by Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats, 4.2 stars out of five), Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats, 4.1), FC Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 2 BKT, 3.8), AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats, 3.7) and AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 2 BKT, 3.6).

The five criteria used to analyse each club are:
⚽️ professionalisation (U16s to U23s on professional contracts in the top two divisions of the top ten countries in the UEFA rankings and National 1);
⚽️ playing time in the first team of the training club;
⚽️ national caps (international matches played by the player, regardless of nation);
⚽️ schooling (diplomas obtained during the previous season);
