Bayern Munich announces record turnover of €528.7m (+22%) and net profit of €16.5m in 2013-14

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) announced a record turnover of €528.7m in 2013-14 at its annual general meeting on 28/11/2014. This amount is consistent with reports in the German press and reported by News Tank on 20/10/2014. It is 22% higher than the previous Bayern record turnover figure of €432.8m in 2012-13. This is the first time that the FC Bayern Munich group (composed of the limited liability company that manages the professional football section, the Allianz Arena Stadion GmbH and other subsidiaries) has crossed the €500m turnover mark.

The club recorded a positive EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and impairment of fixed assets) at €98.7m, up 3.2% year on year (€95.6m) and a profit before tax of €25.9m, up 15.1% compared to 2012-13 (€22.5m). The net profit for Bayern Munich is €16.5m at 30/06/2014, an increase of 17.9% over 12 months (€14m). From the 1992-93 year, the Bavarian club has recorded 22 consecutive seasons with a positive net profit.
