Bundesliga: DAZN acquires broadcasting rights in Canada for the 2023-2026 cycle

The OTT sports platform DAZN has acquired the exclusive full broadcasting rights in Canada to the Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga and DFL-Supercup for the next three seasons (2023-2026), announced the company on 26/06/2023.

The agreement will begin with the broadcast of the 2023 DFL-Supercup, which will pit RB Leipzig (winners of the DFB-Pokal 2022-23) versus FC Bayern Munich (2022-23 Bundesliga champions) on Saturday 12/08/2023.

The rights to broadcast the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga and DFL-Supercup in Canada had been held by the English-language pay-TV channel Sportsnet (owned by Canadian media group Rogers) since 2015.
