Germany: adoption of a new financial agreement between the DFL and DFB for the 2023-2029 cycle

• 3% of national and international broadcasting rights for German professional football to be paid to the DFB by the DFL, with a minimum amount of €34.5m and a maximum of €39m for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons (last annual amount received by the DFB: €26m);
• 50% of this revenue received by the DFB is paid to its 21 'state associations' (Landesverbänden, the equivalent of the FFF's Districts) as 'institutional support', with a minimum amount set at €13m per year;
• €12.5m paid annually by the DFB to the DFL for the use of international players for advertising purposes, with a bonus of €2m for the World Cup (2026) and European Championship (2024 and 2028) seasons;
• Maintenance of the system granting the DFL 50% of any profits received from the participation of the men's national team in World Cup or Euro finals;
• The DFL's contribution to the DFB's Masterplan Amateurfußball, amounting to €3m per year, an increase of €500,000;
