Spain/RFEF: €366m in revenue & a net profit of €28.7m for the financial year 2022

The general assembly of the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol, which met at the Ciudad Del Futbol Las Rozas (Madrid, ESP) on 27/06/2023, approved the RFEF's accounts for the financial year 2022, which showed a net profit of €28.7m, announced the body the same day.

"The €28.7m profit last year is added to the €32.8m in 2021, making a total of €61.5m of positive results in the last two years. These results represent the consolidation of the growth that the RFEF, and with it non-professional football, have been experiencing since 2018," said the Spanish Football Federation, referring to the year Luis Rubiales was elected president (elected on 17/05/2018, re-elected for four years on 21/09/2020).

"In 2022, the RFEF's own revenue amounted to €366m, to which must be added (taking into account the decentralisation of the organisational structure of the Spanish football federations) the revenue from the territorial federations. In this case, the accounts are not yet final, but the estimated projection is €71.4m, which would make a total of €437m in revenue for the RFEF," added the body. The…
