UEFA: 2025 Women's Champions League final to be held in Lisbon among executive committee decisions

• The Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon (POR) designated to host the Women's Champions League final in 2025.
• The Agia Sofia Stadium in Athens (GRE) and the Stadion Wrocław (POL) designated to host the Europa League final in 2024 and 2025 respectively.
• The adoption of amendments to the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Regulations regarding the accounting treatment of the amortisation of transfer fees for acquired players.
• The Europa Conference League to be renamed simply "Conference League" from the 2024-25 season.

These are some of the decisions made by the UEFA executive committee during its meeting at the House of European Football in Nyon (SUI) on 28/06/2023. The executive committee also adopted the terms and conditions for European qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, while a new format was introduced for the Youth League from the 2024-25 season.

The European Confederation's next executive committee meeting is scheduled in Limassol (CYP) on 26/09/2023.
