"Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine, FRA) is the capital of Brittany. Stade Rennais FC is 122 years old and we've always been seen as a standard-bearer for our region. This translates into symbols and permanent references. For our 2023-24 home shirts, we have chosen to highlight the interlacing in reference to the forest of Brocéliande. We will also be unveiling an away shirt called 'Gwen ha du', which means black and white in Breton, and which are the colours of Brittany," said Antoine Biard, director of communications at Stade Rennais FC.

How do you work on your local identity? This was the question News Tank Football asked nine of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs. Three of them provide their responses in this third and final part: Stade Rennais FC, Olympique Lyonnais and Clermont Foot 63.
