World Aquatics: Sportfive to manage global media rights sales from 2023

French marketing agency Sportfive has entered into a partnership with World Aquatics for the distribution of international media rights (excluding Japan and certain countries in the Asia-Pacific zone) for the International Swimming Federation's competitions from 2023, as part of a "multi-year collaboration," announced the body on 28/06/2023.

"The covers the upcoming World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan (14-30/07/2023), Doha (Qatar, from 02 to 18/02/2024), and Singapore (2025). The partnership also covers the revitalized annual calendar of global events for all six World Aquatics sports (swimming, open water swimming, water polo, synchronised swimming, diving and high diving)," said World Aquatics.

The Japanese advertising group Dentsu will continue to distribute the media rights for World Aquatics events in Japan and certain APAC countries such as Australia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand.
