"We will make a list of ultra (far right) groups, and expel them from our stadiums and establish a timetable for implementing these measures. Some clubs have already taken steps toward this," said Miguel Cardenal, the Spanish Secretary of State for Sport, following a meeting of the National Anti-violence Commission on 01/12/2014. "It's the end of the ultras, we will remove them," said Javier Tebas, president of the LFP (Liga de Fútbol Profesional, Spanish Professional Football League).

This meeting follows the death of Francisco Javier Romero Taboada (43 years old), supporter of Deportivo La Coruna, who was mortally wounded in incidents that pitted supporters of Deportivo against a group of supporters of Atlético Madrid, on the margins of the match played in Madrid (2-0, Matchday 13th of Liga BBVA) on 30/11/2014. "Clubs should be more demanding in the fight against violence. If they become so, we will get results and we will help them in this task," said Miguel Cardenal.
