Club Atlético de Madrid: a change of badge in 2024-25 following a vote by members

"77,690 members, out of a total of 138,881, which represents 56% of the census, who have participated in the vote have chosen to return to the previous badge, which will represent the club again as of 01/07/2024," announced Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander), on 30/06/2023.

On a proposal from its social committee, the club organised a consultation of its members between 24 and 25/06/2023 regarding the potential reintroduction of the old badge used until 2016. During the consultation, nearly half (61,021, or 44% of the 138,477 members) expressed their desire for the club to consider changing its crest.

"This is a complex, massive and costly process, but one that has the commitment of the board of directors.
