LALIGA EA Sports: excluded from the Europa Conference League by UEFA, CA Osasuna will appeal to CAS

The UEFA Appeals Body has excluded Club Atletico Osasuna (LALIGA EA Sports) from the 2023-24 Europa Conference League. "The club considers UEFA's decision a severe infringement of its rights and will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)," announced the Spanish club on 04/07/2023.

"The members of the UEFA Appeals Body did not consider the allegations presented by the club last Friday and have reaffirmed the initial opinion of the inspectors of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body. In the upcoming days, the Appeals Body will communicate why they have decided to exclude Osasuna from the European competition. CA Osasuna does not share UEFA's opinion, nor the investigation carried out, and regrets the message UEFA sends to the football world by punishing those who denounce corruption and pursue it judicially," said the club.
