Los Angeles Galaxy - Los Angeles FC (2-1), an MLS 2023 regular season match (Western Conference), drew 82,110 spectators at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena (California, USA) on 04/07/2023. This is an all-time record for a North American league match.

LA Galaxy, who usually play at the Dignity Health Sports Park (27,000 capacity), decided to move the derby to the Rose Bowl Stadium (90,000 capacity), where the club played its home games from 1996 to 2002. The match, originally scheduled to open the Major League Soccer season at the end of February 2023, had been postponed due to bad weather.

The previous MLS attendance record dates back to 05/03/2022, when a crowd of 74,479 attended Charlotte FC's home defeat by Los Angeles Galaxy (0-1) at the Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte, USA).
