2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports: Getafe - Barça & Athletic Club - Real Madrid on Matchday 1

FC Barcelona, the 2022-23 Spanish champions, will stabeginrt the 2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports season away to Getafe CF on Sunday 13/08/2023 (kick-off at 21:30 CET), according to LALIGA, which published the calendar for the 380 matches of the season on 04/07/2023 (see below).

Matchday 38, the last matchday of the Spanish first division, will end on the weekend of 26 and 27/05/2024.

Among the "key dates" highlighted by the Spanish League:
• The first Clásico (FC Barcelona-Real Madrid CF) on Matchday 11, on the weekend of 29 and 30/10/2023 at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc (about 5km from Camp Nou, home of the club in 2023-24 & the beginning of the 2024-25 season, during the Spotify Camp Nou's expansion works), with the second at the Santiago Bernabéu on Matchday 32, on the weekend of 20/04 and 21/04/2024.
• Sevilla's first Gran Derbi between Sevilla FC and Real Betis Balompié on Matchday 13, on the weekend of 11 and 12/11/2023 at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
