Major League Baseball (MLB) has teamed up with the British company Impropable, the first European startup to be valued at more than $1bn in 2017, to develop a virtual stadium that will enable fans to follow the celebrity softball gala on 08/07/2023 (local time) during the MLB All-Star Game 2023 at the T-Mobile Park in Seattle (Washington, USA), announced the North American League on 05/07/2023.

The game will be broadcast via streaming on the virtual stadium's jumbotron (large-screen video display), which will be accessible via the MLB website and app. Up to 20,000 users will be able to join in this "watch party" (collective viewing of the game) by creating their own customisable avatar wearing the shirt of a MLB franchise.

Users will be able to explore this virtual stadium, take part in competitions and interact with others via a local voice chat. They will also have access to celebrity interviews broadcast exclusively within the virtual stadium.
