LFP/Ligue 1 Uber Eats: launch of a media content platform for international broadcasters

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has launched a platform dedicated to international broadcasters, enabling them to retrieve media content and publish it on their social media networks, during the 2022-23 season, said the LFP on 11/07/2023.

"Each broadcaster can now access a "Social Media Feed" on which a large amount of immersive photo and video content is published for social media, recorded using mobile phones in the stadium and on the pitch (buses arrival, players warm-up, goals, celebrations, etc.)," explained the League.

"20 Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches were covered in the final 10 matchdays of the 2022-23 season, and more than 1,100 content items have already been uploaded to the platform."

Ligue 1 Uber Eats: beIN Media Group holds the international media rights over the 2018-2024 cycle

• The international rights to Ligue 1 are held by the Qatari pay-TV group beIN Media Group for the 2018-2024 cycle, for a minimum average amount of €80m per season (plus revenue sharing in case of higher revenues).
