Bologna FC: Saputo (dairy products) replaces Cazoo as main shirt sponsor for the 2023-24 season

Saputo Group, a Canadian company specialised in dairy products, has become the main shirt sponsor of Bologna FC 1909 (Serie A TIM) for the 2023-24 season, announced the club on 13/07/2023. As part of the agreement, the brand, which is owned by the family of the club's president Joey Saputo, also has an extension option for the 2024-25 season.

Saputo Group takes over from the online used car retailer Cazoo, which was the main shirt sponsor of Bologna FC in 2022-23. The British company had previously announced a "wind down of its operations" in Europe (outside the United Kingdom) due to financial difficulties on 08/09/2022. Since then, Cazoo has announced the end of its shirt sponsorship agreements with Olympique de Marseille and LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), SC Freiburg (Bundesliga), Valencia CF (LaLiga EA Sports) and Aston Villa FC (Premier League).
