2015 Guinness International Champions Cup: Manchester City will participate in Melbourne (AUS)

Manchester City FC (Barclays Premier League), will participate in the 2015 Guinness International Champions Cup international pre-season tournament that will host three European teams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (capacity 100,000) in Melbourne (AUS), on 18, 21 and 24/07/2015. Manchester City has been the majority shareholder of Melbourne City FC since 22/01/2014.

Real Madrid CF already announced its participation in the tournament on 24/11/2014. A €34m impact on the local economy is expected with the arrival of the Spanish club, indicated Damian Drum, Minister of Sports for the State of Victoria (AUS). The third European team is likely to be Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM).
