European Top 5/summer tours 2023: USA, Asia (excluding China) & Mexico the preferred destinations

For the second season back to normal after the Covid-19 health crisis, most of the major clubs in the European Top 5 have decided to organise a summer tour outside Europe in 2023.

The United States, which (along with Canada and Mexico) will host the 2026 World Cup, is the preferred destination to prepare for the 2023-24 season, but also and above all to roll out marketing operations in a target region where they already have a large number of fans and/or major sponsors. These include Manchester United FC, Arsenal FC (Premier League), AC Milan, Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), FC Barcelona (LaLiga EA Sports) and Real Madrid CF (a Barça - Real Madrid 'Clásico' will take place in Arlington, Texas, on 29/07/2023). These clubs are meeting across the Atlantic for the Soccer Champions Tour 2023. Other major Top 5 clubs will be present in the country, including Chelsea FC (Premier League) and Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga).

Asia is the other destination favoured by clubs from the Top 5, and will play host to Tottenham Hotspur FC (Thailand and Singapore), Liverpool FC (Singapore), FC Bayern Munich…
