Spain: LALIGA+ (OTT) acquires media rights to the Copa Libertadores 2023

LALIGA has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the Copa Libertadores 2023 (CONMEBOL Libertadores) in Spain for its multi-sports OTT platform LALIGA+ (formerly LaLigaSportsTV), announced the Spanish body on 17/07/2023.

The platform will broadcast the competition from the Round of 16 onwards, which is scheduled to begin on 01/08/2023. "In addition to live matches, LALIGA+ will offer highlights and exclusive content around the Copa Libertadores: interviews, reports, videos, etc. From August, it will also be possible to follow the qualifiers for the Copa Sudamericana (CONMEBOL Sudamericana) and the Recopa Sudamericana (CONMEBOL Recopa)," explained LALIGA.

The matches will be available via the platform's "Football International" offering, which also includes matches from the Brasileirão Assaí (Brazilian top flight), the Concacaf Gold Cup and the AFC Champions League.
