Bundesliga: Paramount+ (VoD), main shirt sponsor of Union Berlin from 2023-24

Paramount+, a video-on-demand service provided by US media conglomerate Paramount Global, has become the main shirt sponsor of 1. FC Union Berlin (Bundesliga) from the 2023-24 season, announced the club on 21/07/2023, without giving any indication as to the duration of the partnership. The contract is worth €5m a year, according to the German media.

The Paramount+ logo will be displayed on the shirts of the club's men's team for domestic matches and in the Champions League, a competition for which the club has qualified directly for the group stage for the first time in its history. The American brand will also be displayed on signage at the stadium (Stadion An der Alten Försterei, Berlin) and digital campaigns will be run in conjunction with the German club.

Paramount succeeds German online insurance company Wefox, which had previously signed a contract to become the club's main shirt sponsor for three seasons (2022-2025) from 2022-23, on 17/03/2022.
