Paris 2024: the "Champions Park" a parade site for medallists, at Trocadéro (16^th arrondissement)

Paris 2024 presents the "Champions Park", a "unique" venue dedicated to the parade of medal-winning athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Games on the Trocadéro esplanade (Paris, 16^th arrondissement), opposite the Eiffel Tower, announced the COJOP on 24/07/2023.

The committee aims to attract a total of 150,000 spectators over the 10 days that the "Champions Park" is open (accessible from 16:00 to 23:30 between 29/07 and 10/08/2024). The "Walk of Fame" at the heart of Champions Park is expected to see over 1,000 athletes parade past, each with five invitations to be accompanied by people of their choice. The 15,000 daily spectators will also be able to follow the major finals (40 hours of live coverage in total) thanks to the large screens installed on site. Artistic and cultural performances "will enrich the programme".

This site, operated by Paris 2024, is based on the installations deployed for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on the Seine (26/07), with the aim of "capitalising on a venue that already exists," according to Michael Aloïsio, deputy CEO of Paris 2024.
