Sportdeutschland.tv (owned by the German National Olympic Committee) has acquired exclusive full broadcasting rights from the United States Tennis Association for the US Open Grand Slam tournament in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) for the 2023-2027 cycle (five editions), announced the streaming platform on 20/07/2023.

These rights are not exclusive in Switzerland. The platform will broadcast the qualifiers, the singles, doubles and mixed doubles tournaments, as well as all the matches in the junior and wheelchair tennis tournaments.

These rights were previously held by pay-TV group Eurosport, owned by media and entertainment conglomerate Warner Bros. Discovery. Discovery also extended its rights to broadcast the US Open over the 2023-2027 cycle in 45 European territories, including 42 on an exclusive basis (excluding Germany), on 14/02/2023. Eurosport has been broadcasting this Grand Slam tournament since 2001.
