Women's World Cup 2023: France's sponsors committed to fighting prejudice in football

The French women's football team's first match versus Jamaica (0-0, Group F, 23/07/2023) was an opportunity for the Fédération Française de Football's sponsors to activate their partnerships at the start of the Women's World Cup 2023 (in Australia and New Zealand from 20/07 to 20/08/2023).

The brands are focusing their partnership primarily on combating prejudice against women's football:
• Orange (telecoms) produced an advertisement to promote women's football by digitally changing women's players into men's players with the aim of eliminating prejudices about the women's game.
• Volkswagen France (car manufacturer) stages the French players in an advertising spot, in which they respond to certain prejudices such as "precision is optional in women's football?" or "even my 4-year-old son runs faster than women's soccer players."
