CAS: UEFA authorises CA Osasuna (LALIGA EA Sports) to play in the 2023-24 Europa Conference League

Following the "consent award" concluded between UEFA and Club Atletico Osasuna (LALIGA EA Sports) as part of the club's appeal procedure before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the latter has been authorised by the European confederation to participate in the 2023-24 Europa Conference League, announced the body on 25/07/2023.

"In view of the new evidence provided by the club in defense of its participation in the competition, UEFA has concluded that Osasuna was a victim of the events that occurred almost a decade ago and has valued the initiative carried out by the institution to clarify them. Consequently, UEFA considers Osasuna suitable to participate in this edition of the European competition," said the club.

Osasuna indicated that it would be appealing to CAS regarding the UEFA appeals body's decision to exclude the club from the competition, on 04/07/2023.
