Tour de France 2023: 56 partners, €2.3m in prize money & followed by 75% of French people

The Tour de France 2023, organised by Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) and won for the second time in a row by Denmark's Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma, NED), was broadcast in full in France by the public broadcaster France Télévisions and the pay-TV channels Eurosport from 01 to 23/07/2023.

A record 42.5 million viewers (cumulative audience), "i.e. 75% of the French population", watched the Tour de France over three weeks on France Télévisions channels, compared with 41.5 million in 2022 (+2.4% in 2023) and a previous record of 42.4 million in 2021 (+0.2% in 2023). 22 million videos were viewed on France.tv, francetv sport and franceinfo, an "all-time record", according to France Télévisions, which has extended its broadcasting contract with ASO for the 2026-2030 cycle.

In addition, 3.7 million viewers (cumulative) watched the Tour on Eurosport, which was "the second best edition ever," according to the pay-TV group.
