OL Groupe: total revenue from operations up 15% (€289.7m) in 2022-23

OL Groupe's total revenue from operations for the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023) was €289.7m, up 15% (+€37.1m) on 2021-22 (€252.5m), announced the holding company that owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on 25/07/2023. Excluding player trading, sales rose by 24% to €199.1m.

This increase is due in particular to the receipt, in 2022-23, of €40m (in two instalments) as part of the agreement between the LFP and the American investment fund CVC Capital Partners. "The Group is set to receive the third and final tranche (€50m) in 2023-24," added OL Groupe, which was bought by American John Textor, via his company Eagle Football, on 19/12/2022, before being appointed chairman of the board and chief executive on 05/05/2023.
