Paris 2024/IOC: Omega installs the Olympic Games countdown clock at the foot of the Eiffel Tower

Omega, a Swiss luxury watch brand belonging to the Swatch Group, has activated its partnership with the IOC and Paris 2024 and installed the countdown clock for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games on 26/07/2024 at the Port de la Bourdonnais in Paris, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, announced the COJOP on 25/07/2023.

Raynald Aeschlimann, president and CEO of Omega, Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee, and Tony Estanguet, president of Paris 2024, inaugurated the countdown clock, the structure of which takes the form of the Paris 2024 emblem.

Paris 2024 will mark Omega's 31^st anniversary as "official timekeeper" of the Games since 1932 (at the Los Angeles Olympics, USA). The Biel-based group is committed as a Top Partner of the IOC until 2032.
