Serie A/TV rights post-2024: no agreement with broadcasters, offers valid until 15/10/2023

"Last night (25/07/2023) the Lega Serie A concluded the second round of private negotiations with the receipt of the improved offers from the three broadcasters, DAZN, Mediaset and Sky Italia. As per the rules of the call for tenders, the offers received remain valid and binding until 15/10/2023, in the meantime the Lega Serie A and the clubs will continue to work with the aim of maximising the value of their audiovisual rights," announced the Italian league on 26/07/2023.

The Italian governing body launched the call for tenders for the rights to broadcast Serie A TIM in Italy from the 2024-25 season on 19/05/2023. The deadline for submitting bids was 14/06/2023.

The League declared the tender unsuccessful on 16/06/2023, at which point it announced that it was entering into private negotiations with three broadcasters: the OTT platform DAZN, the private Italian group Mediaset and the pay-TV operator Sky Italia (which confirmed its participation in the tender on 06/06/2023).
