Olympique Marseille: CMA CGM unveil 1^st sports facility as part of the "Capitale du Foot" project

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), through its Foundation, and its main partner CMA CGM (a French shipping and logistics company) have inaugurated a first mixed sports court as part of the "Capitale du Foot" project aimed at "meeting a specific need in the region: rehabilitating underused spaces to make them accessible to all," on 26/07/2023. It is located in the Cathédrale de la Major (Marseille).

"With our ambitions for local infrastructure set to grow over the years, other sports areas should follow suit during the 2023-24 season. Once operational, the pitches will host sporting and cultural activities organised by the OM Fondation and local associations several times a year," explained the Marseille club. The project was financed in particular by the organisation of a "Legends Tournament" on 02/06/2023.
