2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports: drones & more cameras to improve broadcasts

A new model of drone and an aerial camera positioned closer to the pitch are among the technological innovations dedicated to improving the broadcasting of 2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports matches presented by LALIGA on 28/07/2023.

The new features introduced for the Spanish league, which begins on Saturday 11/08/2023, are as follows:
• The use of cinematic cameras, which "will offer new shots, bringing the action closer to the viewer, situated in new locations much closer to the players."
• Installation of a new model of drones "which will offer better image quality, generating an unparalleled panoramic view of the game."
• A new positioning of the aerial camera, "even lower in order to show penalties and fouls from the player's point of view."
• Use of bench cameras, installed for select matches throughout the season and which "will allow fans to see player reactions plus get an insight into how they watch their teammates on the pitch."
