Goal-line will be used during the 52 matches of the 2015 Women's World Cup (Canada, 06/06 to 05/07/2015), announced FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), the 05/12 / 2014.

"The IFAB (International Football Association Board) has made a decision to authorise the use of the goal-line technology system. FIFA has decided that for all of the top competitions, we will use GLT. The GLT system will be used in Canada at the Women's World Cup next year in all stadiums.said Jérôme Valcke, General Secretary of the International Federation.

  • FIFA has launched a tender procedure specifying the technical requirements of the tournament for providers who have a FIFA license for the technology on the goal line.
  • "Interested companies will be invited to participate in inspection visits to each of the six host cities, Edmonton, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg. These visits are scheduled in January 2015," said FIFA on 05/12/2014.
  • The International Federation will announce its final decision in February 2015.
